Dual Shot Camera Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Dual Shot Camera, an iPhone app for dual-photo capture, dual-video capture, single-video capture, local media export, saving to Apple Photos, and optional sharing or upload flows.
Plain-English Highlights
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, audio, captions, and other content you create. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record, save, share, or upload that content.
Apps obtained through the App Store are licensed, not sold. Your use of Dual Shot Camera is also subject to Apple's App Store terms, usage rules, and the Apple standard end user license agreement unless a custom license is made available for the app.
Any purchases or subscriptions offered in the app are handled through Apple. Prices, billing period, free-trial availability, renewal terms, and cancellation controls are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Dual Shot Camera, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
These Terms apply to the app experience we provide. They do not replace the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, App Store usage rules, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, or third-party service terms that apply to platforms you choose to use.
2. The Service
Dual Shot Camera helps you capture and prepare media on iPhone. Depending on the app version, device support, operating system permissions, and selected mode, the app may support:
- Dual photo capture and local photo export.
- Dual video capture and single video capture.
- Microphone audio recording when you grant microphone permission.
- Saving selected media to Apple Photos when you grant photo library permission.
- Opening, sharing, or uploading selected media through Apple system features or third-party platforms.
- Subscription, trial, or purchase flows if premium features are offered in your app version or region.
Some features may not be available on every device, iOS version, country or region, network condition, or third-party destination. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features where needed for product, safety, legal, platform, or operational reasons.
3. Apple App Store License Terms
App Store license baseline: If you obtained Dual Shot Camera from the App Store, the app is licensed to you and not sold to you. The Apple standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless Apple or the app provider makes a valid custom EULA available for the app.
Your license is limited to a non-transferable right to use Dual Shot Camera on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's applicable usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, sublicense, or make the app available over a network except where allowed by applicable law, Apple's usage rules, or open-source component licenses that may apply to specific components.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Dual Shot Camera. Support questions, complaints, or claims about the app should be directed to us using the contact information below.
4. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use the app. If you are under the age of majority in your country or region, you may use the app only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The app is not intended to be submitted to the App Store Kids Category unless the App Store listing expressly says otherwise.
Dual Shot Camera may allow optional authentication with third-party services, such as Google, only when needed for a feature you choose, such as uploading a video to YouTube. Your use of that third-party account remains subject to the third party's own terms and policies.
5. Device Permissions
| Permission | Why It Is Used | Your Control |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | To capture photos and videos in the app. | You can allow or revoke access in iOS Settings. |
| Microphone | To record audio into video files when audio recording is enabled. | You can deny access; supported video flows may continue without audio. |
| Photo Library | To save captures, show recent-media previews, or open selected media workflows. | You can manage full, limited, or denied access in iOS Settings. |
You agree not to bypass, disable, misrepresent, or interfere with iOS permission controls, platform security, or App Store purchase controls.
6. Your Media and User Content
"User Content" means photos, videos, audio, titles, descriptions, captions, thumbnails, metadata, support messages, or other material you create, import, save, share, upload, or send while using Dual Shot Camera.
- You keep ownership of your User Content.
- You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate, support, debug, improve, and protect the app.
- You are responsible for obtaining all rights, releases, and consents needed for the people, places, music, trademarks, copyrighted material, and other protected content in your User Content.
- You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to recording, privacy, publicity, intellectual property, export, and online sharing in your country or region.
Dual Shot Camera is primarily an on-device capture and export tool. The app does not claim ownership of your camera roll, and normal capture processing is designed to happen locally unless you choose a network-dependent feature, such as a third-party upload or support email.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Dual Shot Camera to:
- Violate any law, regulation, contract, platform rule, or third-party right.
- Record, share, or upload content without required consent or legal authority.
- Create, distribute, or promote unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, defamatory, or otherwise harmful content.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other intellectual property rights.
- Mislead viewers about the source, context, consent, or authenticity of media.
- Interfere with app security, payment systems, usage limits, third-party integrations, or platform review requirements.
- Use the app in a way that could distract you from driving, operating equipment, or acting safely.
If the app later includes public posting, community, collaboration, or creator-content features, we may remove or restrict content, accounts, or access that violates these Terms, and we may provide reporting, blocking, filtering, or moderation tools appropriate for that feature.
8. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Trials
Some versions or regions of Dual Shot Camera may offer free features, paid features, auto-renewable subscriptions, free trials, introductory offers, or other in-app purchases through Apple.
- All digital purchases in the iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store unless Apple permits another method for your storefront or feature.
- The price, billing period, included access, trial duration, renewal terms, and any introductory offer are shown before you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, or as otherwise stated by Apple in the purchase flow.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- If a free trial is offered, the subscription may convert to a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial deadline shown by Apple.
- Refund requests and billing disputes for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
- Restoring purchases may require network access, Apple account availability, and third-party purchase SDK availability.
Paid access should be available without requiring unrelated tasks such as posting on social media, uploading contacts, rating the app, or taking store-related actions. We may change future pricing or features, but changes to active subscriptions will be handled according to Apple's subscription rules and notices.
9. Third-Party Services and Destinations
The app may interact with Apple services, Google/YouTube, social platforms, messaging apps, installed share destinations, email providers, purchase providers, analytics or diagnostics tools, or other third-party services needed for features you choose.
- When you share or upload content to a third-party service, that service may process your content under its own terms and privacy policy.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party services complies with their rules, including YouTube, Google, social platforms, and messaging services.
- We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, moderation decisions, data practices, payment rules, or content policies.
- Third-party services may change, suspend, revoke, rate-limit, or discontinue access in ways that affect app features.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Dual Shot Camera processes, why it is processed, when data may leave your device, and how you can control app permissions. By using the app, you also agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Our Intellectual Property
Dual Shot Camera, including the app design, software, branding, logos, interface elements, text, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the app or our materials.
You may send feedback, ideas, or suggestions. If you do, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, while you keep ownership of any underlying rights you already hold.
12. Updates and Availability
We may provide updates, bug fixes, security improvements, feature changes, or compatibility updates. Some updates may be required for continued use. The app may be unavailable or limited because of device capability, operating system changes, third-party service changes, network conditions, App Store availability, legal requirements, maintenance, or events outside our control.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dual Shot Camera is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or third-party platform, or suitable for every filming, publishing, professional, commercial, evidentiary, or archival purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing important recordings, keeping backups, confirming uploads, complying with platform rules, and ensuring that media is saved or exported before deleting files or uninstalling the app.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, content, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to Dual Shot Camera will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app or in-app purchases during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.
15. Your Responsibility for Claims
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your User Content, your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person's rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to features if you violate these Terms, create legal or safety risk, misuse third-party integrations, interfere with platform rules, or if we need to comply with law or App Store requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
17. Legal Compliance and Export
You are responsible for using the app in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including export, sanctions, privacy, recording consent, intellectual property, consumer protection, and online platform laws. You represent that you are not barred from using the app under applicable sanctions or export-control rules.
18. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
If you downloaded Dual Shot Camera from the App Store, Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the app. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary where applicable.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves or as legal, platform, or operational requirements change. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the app after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms for future use.
